Day 1
Pick up at the airport or land terminal. We moved to the native community that eja of hell where our stay will be. The Eja family welcomes us with a welcome to the heart of the Hell community.
LUNCH
Boat trip
We walked about 15 minutes to the port of embarkation. We boarded the boat and sailed upriver through the Tambopata. We open our senses and prepare for the sighting of wild animals that live on the banks of the rivers: alligators, ronsocos, turtles or the impressive Jaguar. herons, macaws and toucans are seen in the tops of the trees or showing off their flight over the horizon of the river. We are familiar with the fauna and this vast ecosystem.
This is a tour of about 3 hours, in the evening we will be able to appreciate one of the most emblematic gifts of this place, to appreciate the sunset from the river. A spectacle of contrasts that inspires.
The sky darkens, but our senses are sharpened. It’s time to search for the white alligator and nocturnal animals. Our guide will use a powerful beacon and its experienced ability to search between the edges that brightness that the eyes of the alligators reflect in the direct light. Here patience and stillness is key to being able to locate them. We will approach a prudent distance to be able to appreciate in detail these reptiles.
DINNER
The great night walk
In the darkness of the night we explore the other side of the Amazon by taking a walk with the help of our flashlights. We will enter for approximately 1:15 hours in search of wildlife such as: arachnids, frogs, snakes and mammals. It’s time to open our senses well, we hear the sound of birds like owls and night monkeys. We will be surprised to look at the camouflages of caterpillars and moths. luminous mushrooms, armadillos and tarantulas.
Day 2
BREAKFAST
INFIERNO WALK
We prepare for a walk of approximately 4 hours through the primary Amazonian forest. We will go through trails only known by natives so we will have high chances of sightings. Among the species that we can find here we have the squirrel monkey, capuchin monkey, pichico monkey, stumps. With luck in the ravine we can see some dwarf alligator or anaconda.
We will pass through swampy ravines, we will fish with our handmade cane and we will carry out a survival demonstration. He improvised a campfire collecting dry branches, thus experimenting and learning to survive as the ancestors did that Eja in this tropical forest.
We will open the way and go through this primary forest using only our machetes.
The Hell Walk is an experience where we will learn to walk in the forest, using our ability, our senses, with care and responsibility. It is a challenge for travelers looking for an authentic experience in the middle of the jungle.
As evening falls, before it becomes dark we return from this hectic incursion of a lot of physical effort. Dinner awaits us.

Day 3
BREAKFAST
FULL DAY SANDOVAL LAKE
Lake Sandoval is characterized by being within the Tambopata Reserved Area, for its calm waters and 3 km long by 1 km wide, formed from a meander of the Madre de Dios River, within the reserve. It is known for its rich biodiversity and impressive landscapes.
Along the route we will have the possibility of observing the Amazonian fauna, such as giant otters, black alligators, howler monkeys, birds such as macaws and toucans.
Sandoval Lake is an unmissable destination for nature lovers and those looking for an authentic experience in the Peruvian Amazon.
We will take a motor boat by the Madre de Dios River, followed by taking a trail making a stop at the checkpoint to register, since we will be inside the Tambopata Reserved Zone and then we continue with our tour that will take us to Lake Sandoval, where we will take a walk in Canoe and sail around the lake in search of wildlife.
Lunch on board, home lodging / return 4:00 pm
Day 4
BREAKFAST
RETURN
After breakfast, we will say goodbye to the jungle and head back to the city of Puerto Maldonado. Our transport will take us to the airport or terminal in Puerto Maldonado. It’s time to say until the next one to the family that eja. Good trip!
